The elastic support of the rails on specifically designed rubber profiles not only guarantees a high durability and a high electrical resistance of the track insulation, the BODAN system can also be made to fit the respective rail shape by means of different rubber profiles.
Cleverly Thought Out Functionality
Due to the bridge construction the track structure will get ventilation, and destructive mould formation is avoided. Resistance to water, frost and de-icing salt as well as to chemicals, protection against corrosion and the extreme compressive and bending tensile strength do have a positive effect on the durability and safety in the operational state. The latter is also ensured through a high skid resistance by the grain-rough surface.

The entire BODAN system is designed and developed with a clear focus on long-time durability and a low maintenance regime. In addition to the impressive durability of the polymer concrete construction the uncomplicated replacement of individual panels and the simple servicing of the small iron and fastening parts will result in excellent life-cycle costs.
The BODAN Level Crossing System allows road traffic to cross a rail track while simultaneously meeting the complex requirements of rail traffic. The polymer concrete panels, installed bridge-like and with elastic support, convey the traffic load into the ballast bed across a large area and thus ensure an undisturbed co-existence of all the given physical factors. Optimum Conditions An excellent life-cycle, minimum effort for installation (a detailed installation guide is supplied with the product) and low maintenance costs speak for themselves. Intra-urban traffic has its own special requirements. For this purpose the U-BODAN System has been developed with panels made of polymer concrete which is perfectly suited for the urban rail infrastructure.
Easy and Quick to Install
As light-weight objects with narrow width the U-BODAN panels allow a quick installation by hand and a convenient storage in tunnels alongside the tracks outside the clearance space. For grooved rails there are also Le-BODAN panels available for the efficient installation in between the rails.

Massive elements with a thickness of 35 resp. 45 cm guarantee the highest degree of robustness even under extreme load conditions. BO-TRACK track support slabs made from reinforced concrete are available in regular lengths of 400 resp. 500 cm and widths of 240 cm (resp. 230 cm on top) and suitable for axle loads of up to 90 tonnes.
